Home Harmony Sessions
Home Harmony Sessions are designed to support families naturally by meeting children where they are through everyday connection, play, and observation.
During each session, I spend time with your child(ren) while parents carry on with their typical routines in the comfort of your home. I assist with tasks like snacks, homework, or transitions between routines, and depending on the time of day, this could include helping with daily chores, playing games, taking walks, or engaging in creative activities. I also support siblings in improving communication and building stronger relationships, fostering harmony throughout the family. The goal is to observe how everyone interacts, manages emotions, and seeks connection within their own space. While many families prefer after-school or evening sessions, I offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs. Sessions can be booked for any time - mornings, midday, evenings, or up until bedtime.

Through these interactions, I gain valuable insights into your child’s needs, strengths, and communication styles. Based on these observations, I develop personalized goals that focus on building confidence, enhancing communication, and creating a peaceful home environment.
Although these sessions may seem like simple play or routine activities, they provide rich opportunities for learning, growth, and relationship-building. After each visit, you’ll receive a summary of my observations, suggested goals, and practical strategies to support continued progress at home.

The cost of Home Harmony sessions is $150 for the first hour and $75 for each additional hour. There is no travel/mileage fee in the DMV area. I’m happy to offer flexible payment plans for those who may need them.

Parent Reviews:

"Since starting Home Harmony sessions with Ashley, we've learned so much about how to communicate a lot better as a family. The focus on declarative language has helped us express our needs and feelings more clearly. Learning how to give our kids more autonomy has not only boosted their confidence, but it’s also made them more comfortable communicating with both me and their dad. The changes in our home are incredible, and we’re seeing stronger connections and better communication every day. She is fantastic, my kids just adore her, and always ask, "Is it Ashley day yet?" -Amy O., Fairfax, Virginia

"As parents of 6-year-old neurodivergent twins who always compete for attention, we tried an ABA therapist, but it wasn’t the right fit. Ashley's approach, however, is completely different and so effective. She connects with our kids through play, teaching them to share attention, communicate, and manage emotions. The change in their behavior has been amazing, and her calm, intuitive method has brought much-needed peace to our home." - Terry and Shawna, Front Royal, Virginia

"We have had 3 sessions so far. I love watching my daughter, who is 8, and Ashley play together. It's really neat to see how she communicates, she has my daughter listening without ever *telling* her what to do (my daughter is PDA and struggles with listening to anyone). These sessions remind me of the old Nanny 911 show, but without the mean nanny lol. Ashley quickly built trust, teaches important skills, sets boundaries, and narrates everything in a way that feels natural. It's wonderful to see how much my daughter has learned just from playing 1 on 1. Dad and I have also learned by watching! It’s been such a positive experience! :) " -Simrin T., Gainesville, Virginia
